Great news: my series “Ice” was shortlisted for Kolga Festival photo competition in Tblisi, Georgia! It will become a part of the big exhibition there in June.
Poland based street, travel and documentary photographer
Interesting exhibition was opened yesterday in my home city – “Leica-man from Lublin” (“Lajkarz z Lublina”) it’s a collection of old photographs taken by the Queen magazine photographer, Gerald Hawson in Lublin, Poland in 1959. Interesting to see everyday life on the familiar streets half a century ago…
I had a really great time last weekend in Warsaw, met interesting people, shared some ideas and opinions, had a quick chat with Matt Stuart (what a cool chap!) who gave a very inspiring talk. My own “meeting with photographer” event went really well, I enjoyed it and hope I wasn’t the only one :) Thanks you all for coming for for the rest – here’s the video…
Join me at my “Meeting with photographer” event, where I will be discussing my photos and my approach to street photography. At 4pm this Saturday in Warsaw, as part of the Polish edition of Street Photography Now exhibition. And I’m just a “support” for the main star of the evening: Matt Stuart that will be discussing his work at 6pm at the same place – not to be missed, so see you there!
At last – the versnissage of Street Photography Now exhibition is tonight, so I’m off to Warsaw. Guess who’s expected there… Mr Bruce Gilden :) And also Mr Stephen McLaren – co-author of a great SPN album. Exciting! My next stop on Monday is London – a place where I grew up as a street photographer. Haven’t been there for over a year now! Can’t wait to meet old friends and hit the old streets once again… Expect (much!) more photos soon. And see you tonight in Warsaw!
